i’m passionate about supporting women & mothers

Welcome!

I specialize in helping postpartum mothers and moms who are having a tough time getting through the day to overcome feelings of anxiety, anger, overwhelm, and sadness, so that you can be the mom and woman that you want to be.

Not a mom? I’m here for ALL women. Are you feeling anxious? does life feel overwhelming and are the crosses that you are carrying too heavy and hard to navigate? I’m here to help you feel capable of handling all of the ups and downs in life.

Whether you're looking for space to prioritize your mental wellness, navigating maternal mental health issues, or needing support in processing and coping with day to day life, I’m here to help.

MY SPECIALTIES

Therapy for women

Sometimes, life just feels hard. Maybe you’ve experienced a loss and need help processing it or perhaps you are going through an exceptionally stressful time. I am here to guide you in processing hurt, in helping you make connections and ultimately in providing the space and encouragement needed to facilitate change. We ride the wave of therapy together and when needed, a gentle nudge and direct feedback will be given.

Therapy for moms

Motherhood is wonderful, AND messy, challenging, and overall a beautiful vocation. Mothers have a very important role and we feel the weight of that daily. You may be wondering if you’re “doing a good enough job”. Or maybe you feel burnt out and you don’t know how to take time for yourself, even though others say you should. To take it a step further, perhaps you aren’t even sure if you should take time for yourself and what would that even look like anyway? You want to be the best mom, but you may be tired, overworked, sad, anxious, and trying to parent while past wounds subtly (or not so subtly) bubble to the surface. If this sounds like you, maybe we can chat.

If you’ve been looking for resources or a space to share your own experience through motherhood, check out Visitation Motherhood to help guide you along.

MY APPROACH IS ROOTED IN TRUTH, INSIGHT ORIENTED & COLLABORATIVE

  • As a practicing Catholic, my therapeutic style is rooted in truth and the belief that all people have dignity and worth. My Catholic faith directly and indirectly guides me in helping you to heal. This may look like the use of prayer both inside and outside of the session or we may use prompts based on Catholic spirituality. Of course, there are many other possibilities!

  • Part of our process includes helping you to make connections and gain insight into your beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors. In session, this may look like discussing goals, addressing past experiences, asking open ended questions and reflection.

  • I walk alongside you as we work together in exploring the challenges that you face. I strongly believe in a collaborative approach, one where we engage in meaningful conversation about your goals and needs.
